Client: Stormwater Defenders
Stormwater upgrades involved installation of Stormwater Downstream Defenders in the larger catchment areas in the Taupo District. Two units were 2550 Ø installed in Turangi and within the Two-Mile Bay Boat ramp carpark and a third 3000 Ø unit in the Hawai Street reserve.
Our team carried out installation at depths of up to 5 meters, whilst encountering challenging conditions included running sand at the Hawai Street Reserve and the excavation at the Two-Mile Bay Boat ramp being equal to the height of the adjacent lakefront.
