Project Status: In progress
Client: Waipā District Council
The PT Bus Depots project is a collaborative effort undertaken in partnership with Waipā District Council and Waikato Regional Council. This initiative aims to deliver vital civil works and infrastructure developments in Cambridge and Kihikihi, creating new charging stations for electric buses, a first for the area.
The project scope encompasses a diverse range of activities, including environmental protection measures, earthworks, stormwater drainage systems, water reticulation, power infrastructure, lighting, and CCTV installation. Additionally, it involves concrete pavement construction, landscaping efforts, and reinstatement work to create functional and aesthetically pleasing bus depots.
By expanding transportation options, this project provides local residents with more sustainable and accessible ways to travel. The project also enhances the overall quality of transportation services while prioritising environmental protection and safety. Ultimately, it strengthens the region's transportation infrastructure, fostering a more connected community.
