PROJECT OVERVIEW
Initiated in early 2022, the Grey Street Wastewater Pump Station upgrade addressed the anticipated growth of the town Putāruru. The project aimed to strengthen the station’s capacity to meet future demands effectively. The project had multiple challenges such as deep excavations at approximately 6 meters deep and rock-hard ground conditions.
PROJECT SCOPE
The scope of this project involved multiple challenges to create a bypass for pump station upgrades, excavating for a new 375 gravity sewer line, constructing a wet well and pump shed floor, excavating for a new 1200 dia receiving manhole, and successfully commissioning a new pump station.
COMMUNITY BENEFITS
Through collaboration with the council, Camex contributed to enhancing Putāruru’s wastewater infrastructure, ensuring reliability and sustainability for the future. The pump station upgrade reflects our commitment to advancing community wellbeing and infrastructure resilience.
