PROJECT OVERVIEW

Taupō District Council initiated this project to construct a single-lane roundabout at the intersection of three roads: Wairākei Drive, Huka Falls Road, and Karapiti Road.

PROJECT SCOPE

The scope involved earthworks, pavement and concrete works, drainage enhancements, reshaping the intersection, and landscaping with asphalt and kerb installations.

COMMUNITY BENEFITS

This project improves access, traffic flow, and safety for motorists, pedestrians, and cyclists in the surrounding area, benefiting locals and visitors.
